Made by talented young winemakers, cousins Thomas Hanewald & Stephen Schwerdt, at the family owned Hanewald Schwerdt estate in Pflaz, Germany. This is a fresh red bursting with mixed berries and cherries and a soft velvety mouthfeel. It’s a light and fruity style of Pinot Noir (aka Spatburgunder in Germany) so it’s easy enough to drink alone but equally delicious with food such as duck or coq au vin.
