To make this whisky, Compass Box gather together some of the fruitiest malts Scotland has to offer, including whiskies from the Linkwood and Clynelish distilleries, and source many whiskies as new spirit to mature in their own oak casks. Orchrd House is their monument to fresh fruitiness in Scotch whisky, because what is more universally delicious than ripe fruit?
When neat or poured over ice, it makes for an outstanding pre-dinner malt but is equally delicious served with soft cheeses.
