Saint-Aubin the neighbouring village to Montrachet. Not so well known as their Puligny and Chassagne neighbours but the Saint Aubin wines are really something to keep a watchful eye on!
Mouthwatering citrus, salinity tang with a mineral core and toasty edge from the 12 months in oak. This has lots of approachability now but if you’re in no rush this white wine has the ability to age gracefully over the next 5 years easily, having tried older vintages the aromas and flavours get richer and more honeyed but that fresh acidity is key to its intriguing development.
