The vineyards are north facing sloped terraces and the vines are 40-50 years old. The grapes are handpicked and in the winery they undergo a 15-20 day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. There is no malolactic conversion of this wine which means that there is a brighter and fresher acidity in the wine. The wine is aged for 12 months is stainless teel tanks before bottling and release. No oak is used.
Nose: Grapefruit, peach and floral aromas.
Palate: Concentrated ripe citrus and stone fruits with a lovely delicate floral and strong mineral backbone, the finish is really fresh and clean.
Conclusion: Serving this wine not too chilled but lightly chilled will allow it to come into its own.
