Named for ‘Villa Errazuriz’, built by the winery’s founder in 1870, Villa Don Max. Don Maximiano was a pioneer of Chilean winemaking and set the standard in the region, creating globally recognised quality wine. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Grenache & Mourvedre is named after ‘Villa Errazuriz’ which was built by the winery’s founder in 1870. Villa Don Max, ‘second wine’ of Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve, is a blend from some of the Aconcagua Valley’s best vineyards around the 1870 winery near Panquehue.

We just tried the new release of Errazuriz Villa Don Max 2019 and it’s a blockbuster! Incredibly concentrated black and red fruits, ripe yet firm tannin structure, integrated clove spice. A wine which will become seductive and beautiful with age. It’s a BUY it now wine and benefit later on, in 5 years time this will be beautiful!
