This has the classic fresh, floral, elderflower note we have come to know of the Bacchus grape… arguably England’s signature grape and answer to Sauvignon Blanc. The addition of Chardonnay here adds an abundance of red apple fruit mixed with a touch of stone fruit, a whisper of fennel and good palate weight. It’s quite simply delightful – British summer time in a glass!
