Why come to a wine dinner over a regular tasting?
We pride ourselves on offering a mix of different events, many working with an outstanding selection of local businesses. Our wine dinners are intended to give a different experience to our other tastings, allowing you to try excellent wines carefully selected to pair with incredible dishes. By arranging a tasting of the wine and dishes ahead of the event, we can fine-tune everything as needed, making sure that both the wines and the food are presented at their very best.
We work closely with many local award-winning restaurants so we hope to show you the best of the best. Each dinner we host has a different theme to highlight a mix of various wines and cuisines. A member of our team will host the dinner, presenting each wine to you before the chef shares insights about each dish and explains how they complement each other.
After the success of our recent Portuguese Wine Dinner, we are hosting a 7 Course Bordeaux Wine Dinner at the Falcon in Fotheringhay in September. With both chefs at the Falcon being nominated for awards this year (Zak for Chef of the Year, and Levi for Young Chef of the Year) it is sure to be a fine dining experience that you don’t want to miss.
